New baby sparrow eggs

We found six new baby sparrow eggs in my fern basket this evening. Here they are.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY from Cody!!

Mommy likes to sleep in so we stayed asleep until about 11am., well considering we stayed up until 1pm. that wasn't too bad. Then it was time to go outsid so Jackson and I could do our business.. Boy what is all this heat about? It's 90 degrees Mommy said. I was ready to go back in my nice cool house. Whew!!!  Then it was time to eat! YAY!!! I love to eat and CHEW on anything. Mommy says NO, NO, NO.

She took me over to visit my Aunt Leah next door. She loved me too. Her dog Zack wasn't too happy about me. I know it's cause I am so handsome.. Giggle, giggle. :)

Cody's first day here with Jackson.

Well I started taking pics of my new little baby right away. He is so photogenic. And I can watch him grow right before my eyes.Jackson is not happy about  Cody yet. But I think in time they will be buds. I HOPE!!!!

Friday night. My first night with Cody!

I went down to New Kent to see some pups that a woman had living next door to my friend Ellen Spell. She had said they were collie mixes. Well when we walked up they obviously were not collies because they were all dark black. Two had tan markings on them. They were all male. So precious. Of course I brought one home on a trial basis. (Yeah right I know you are thinking) Well so was I. But I had to see how he and my sweet baby Jackson would get along.

Jackson wasn't too happy. He growled and the puppy yelped. I knew his name would be Cody before I even left the yard. Had to keep my Wyoming names going. So Cody it was! It fits him. I let him sleep in my bed so he wouldn't cry. And we got along just fine.
